Top Ten: Celebrity Football Fans

It is not the most uncommon thing in the world to see a celebrity at a Premier League ground donning the shirt, claiming that they have always loved the club with all their heart.

More often than not, their affections are as crystal clear as the lies of Harry Redknapp claiming that he will have a “quiet” transfer window.

However, there are a number of stars in the limelight who do genuinely ooze passion when it comes to football. Take a look at our list as TIBS news complies a gathering of the top 10 celebrity fans of British teams.

10-Tom Hanks (Aston Villa)

The hugely–talented Fry has never kept his passion for the Canaries a secret, and made it pretty clear to millions of his Twitter followers by splashing the club’s logo on his display picture. Proud.

5-Lord Sugar (Tottenham Hotspur)

Once upon a time ago, business tycoon Lord Sugar was the owner of Tottenham Hotspur after forming a partnership with former England gaffer Terry Venables, and managed to recruit players such as Jurgen Klinsmen to White Hart Lane.
