Tuesday’s TIBS Newsbytes: Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez could both be leaving Barcelona

1) Manchester City are believed to be keen on luring Argentina forward Lionel Messi away from Barcelona. The 33-year-old has has been at the club since he was 13-years-old. He has scored an incredible 415 goals in 325 starts and in all competitions he has officially scored 634 times! He is the Catalan team’s record ever scorer – ahead of second placed César Rodríguez Álvarez who ‘only’ netted 232 times!

2) City could have competition for the Argentine star with Italian club Inter Milan keen to bring him to Italy to help the club challenge Juventus for Serie A.

3) Barcelona are understood to be ready to terminate Uruguay striker Luis Suarez‘s contract. The 33-year-old, is third in Barca’s list for all-time scorers with 198 goals.

4) Chelsea are expected to busy over the next 48 hours with them looking to finalise the deal for Bayer Leverkusen’s German midfielder Kai Havertz and Paris St-Germain’s Brazil defender Thiago Silva.

5 The Blues are also in talks to sign French free agent Malang Sarr. The 21-year-old defender left Nice during the summer and could join on a four-year deal.

6) Everton have finally agreed a deal with Napoli for 29-year-old Brazilian midfielder Allan with the fee expected to be £31.5m.

7) And with Allan’s arrival it is rumoured that the Toffees are going to let Italian forward Moise Kean return to his old club Juventus on loan. The 20-year-old has struggled since moving to England, having only managed to score twice in 29 games, but it has to be noted he only started six games.

8) FA Cup winners Arsenal are looking to sell Spanish right-back Hector Bellerin. He has been offered to Champions League runners-up Paris St-Germain.

9) Championship champions Leeds United are understood to be interested in Argentina forward Nicolas Gonzalez. The 22-year-old scored 15 times in 29 games last season. The Yorkshire club could have competition from Italian side AC Milan.

10) Ajax’s Netherlands midfielder Donny van de Beek, 23, is set to leave his homeland and is keen on moving to the Premier League with Manchester United as his most likely destination.
