1) New Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman is keen to start re-building his squad – he is interested in signing Inter Milan’s Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez, Manchester City’s Spanish centre-back Eric Garcia, and Valencia’s 25-year-old full-back Jose Gaya. Whilst the trio would not be cheap they would put the Dutchman’s own stamp on the squad.

2) The Catalan club are also being like with with a move for Ajax’s Argentina left-back Nicolas Tagliafico as are Leicester City should they sell Ben Chilwell to Chelsea.

3) Koeman has been impressed with Brazil playmaker Philippe Coutinho‘s displays for Bayern Munich this season and is considering giving the ex-Liverpool star a second chance.

4) Aston Villa are looking to bid £30m bid for Celtic’s 22-year-old French star Odsonne Edouard. The young French star has scored 40 times in 60 games since signing permanently in June 2018.

5) Newcastle are chasing PAOK’s left-back Dimitris Giannoulis and it is rumoured that they have have offered £4.5m to the Greek club. He has played seven times for the Greek National team.

6) Lille’s highly sought after Brazilian centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes has agreed to join FA Cup winners Arsenal and is expected to complete a £27m move next week.

7) Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is also keen to bing in a new coach with Brentford’s set-piece specialist Andreas Georgson the top of his list to join his backroom team.

8) Swedish forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still in discussions about signing a new contract with AC Milan. The ex-Manchester United striker’s contract is due to expire at the end of August. Last season he scored 10 times in 18 games and made five assists.

9) It is believed that Bournemouth are not looking to keep any players that do not want to stay with the club. This news could lead to Manchester United making a move to sign 23 year old Welsh winger David Brooks.

10) Chelsea are getting closer to signing 21-year-old Kai Havertz but Bayer Leverkusen have not agreed to a fee yet. Despite his young age he has already made 118 appearances for his club and played for the German national team seven times.
