1) Lots of links relating to Argentina forward Lionel Messi going to Manchester City. It is understood he contacted Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola last week about his desire to leave Barcelona.

2) In an effort to sign Messi, Manchester City are open to using Spanish defenders Eric Garcia and Angelino as part of the deal if they cannot sign him on a free transfer.

3) Reports in Spain are that Manchester City are preparing an offer of £89.5m plus Garcia, Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva, 26 and Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus.
