Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola claims his time at Manchester United is ‘OVER’ with midfielder’s future at Old Trafford uncertain

Paul Pogba’s future at Manchester United has been thrown into severe doubt after his agent proclaimed on Monday that he will be leaving the club.

Pogba has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford for the past two seasons – with Barcelona, Real Madrid and former club Juventus among his suitors.

And on Monday afternoon his agent Mino Raiola stirred the pot by declaring that the midfielder wants out of the Theatre of Dreams.

‘I can say that it’s over for Paul Pogba at Manchester United,’ the outspoken Italian told Tuttosport.

Raiola’s bombshell could not come at a worse time for the Red Devils on the eve of their do-or-die Champions League clash at RB Leipzig.

Instead of preparing for that clash on Tuesday night, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will now have to deal with this situation.

United will qualify for the last 16 of the competition by avoiding defeat in Germany on Tuesday night.

Pogba had earlier travelled with the Premier League team for the crucial European tie. The ramifications of Raiola’s words are bound to rumble on into the weekend when United face ‘noisy neighbours’ Manchester United on Saturday evening.

Pogba’s current deal expires at the end of the season but United have the option to trigger an extension of another year.

In October, the 27-year-old spoke of his desire to play for Real Madrid describing a potential move to the Spanish giants as a ‘dream’.

In response to that, Solskjaer said: ‘He’s [Pogba] going to be here for another two years and I’m sure he’s focused on doing his best for us.

‘We want to see the best for Paul and I’m sure in the next couple of years we’ll get the best out of him.’

Raiola’s latest update is in stark contrast to the news he broke back in August when he said: ‘Pogba is key player for Man Utd, they’ve an important project and he’s 100 per cent included. We’re going to speak about a new contract soon, no stress.’
