The awards continue to roll in at Anfield after Jurgen Klopp was named the Premier League Manager of the Season for 2019-20.

The 53-year-old guided the Reds to their first top-flight title in 30 years as they cruised to the Premier League.

Liverpool collected 99 points, winning 32 of their 38 league matches, to finish 18 points clear of second-placed Manchester City.

The German beat Chelsea boss Frank Lampard, Leicester’s Brendan Rodgers and Sheffield United’s Chris Wilder to the award.

Saturday’s announcement is a managerial double for Klopp after he was named League Managers’ Association Manager of the Year.

And it’s the latest prize awarded to the newly-crowned champions after defender Trent Alexander-Arnold, 21, won the Premier League’s Young Player award on Friday.
