As we progress to the latest games on the continent there are three huge games in Spain, France and Italy today.
Real Madrid host Barcelona as both sides look to claim the first El Clasico win of the season.
In Italy Inter Milan will look to bounce back from last week’s defeat against Lazio as they welcome a rejuvenated Juventus to the San Siro.
While in France Paris Saint-Germain look to continue their dominance in Ligue 1 with a trip to an exciting Marseille.
Real Madrid will look to capitalise on Barcelona’s poor form as they are set to meet for the first time this season.
Whilst the El Clasico will look a lot different this year without Lionel Messi, it is still a massive fixture for both clubs.
Real are currently just three points behind league leaders Real Sociedad with a game in hand while Barca find themselves seventh after a mixed start to the season.
A win on Sunday could see Ronald Koeman’s side move up to second and above rivals Real Madrid, while three points for Los Blancos will see them go five points clear of Barcelona.
Sunday’s match will be a strange watch as both Ronaldo and Messi have now moved, however, we could see a new rivalry formed as Ansu Fati and Vinicius Junior are both expected to start.
Derby D’Italia
After a poor start to the season Juventus look for their seventh win on the bounce to get back into title contention.
The Old Lady have been on fire recently beating rivals Torino and claiming victories against Chelsea and Roma.
They will travel to a wounded Inter Milan who were on the end of their first defeat of the season, last weekend.
Simone Inzaghi’s side were beaten comfortably 3-1 by Lazio last time out.
Last week’s defeat left the Nerazzurri seven points off the top as league leaders Napoli have maintained their 100% start winning eight from eight.
This weekend’s clash is set to be a fiery affair with both sides title aspirations on the line and one you will not want to miss.
Le Classique
The last game of the weekend will see third place Olympique de Marseille come up against Ligue 1 runaway leaders PSG.
Les Olympiens have enjoyed an eventful start to the season under new manager Jorge Sampaoli, boasting the second-best attack and playing some exciting football.
This change in style has allowed the Argentines side to be difficult to beat as the overload in attack can be a struggle for sides to deal with.
However, if one side is well equipped to beat Marseille it is PSG.
Les Parisians have won nine of their opening ten league games giving them a comfortable nine-point lead at the top.
With new signing Lionel Messi coming into form PSG have another player that can change the game at any time.
With the squad Mauricio Pochettino has, any team coming up against it will struggle to deal with the talent.
This fixture in the past has been an entertaining one – so I’m sure Sunday night won’t be any different.
