As the final month of the season draws near, clubs up and down the league are still fighting to finish as high as possible in the table. TIBS News provides a Premier League preview.

Manchester City face struggling Watford

Manchester City currently sit top of the league by just one point, and they take on Watford who are 19th and look destined for a return to the Championship.

City are in another title race with Liverpool, with things set to go right down to the final day as neither club shows any sign of slowing down.

Merseyside derby at Anfield

The Reds have a huge game this weekend, facing Everton in the Merseyside derby.

There are big implications for both sides, with Liverpool just a point from first and Everton just a point above the relegation zone.

London derby at Stamford Bridge

Another derby takes place this weekend when Chelsea host West Ham.

Both London clubs are in the running for European football this season and will be looking to pick up valuable points in the race for a top four and top six spot respectively.

Arsenal welcome familiar foe Manchester United

Fellow Champions League chasers Arsenal and Manchester United face off against each other, both needing wins to push back into the battle for a top-four spot.

They currently sit fifth and sixth respectively, with the Gunners outside the top four on goal difference and United just three points behind them.

Tottenham occupy fourth place and face Brentford this weekend, looking to push towards Chelsea who are five points above them and in third place.

Down at the bottom…

Elsewhere, Burnley could move out of the relegation zone if they overcome a tough opponent in eighth-placed Wolves.

The Clarets are without a permanent manager after sacking Sean Dyche but have four points from their last two games as they push towards safety.

Norwich seem all-but relegated, sitting bottom of the league with just 21 points.

They are seven points from safety and have the tough task of facing Newcastle United, a side that have won their last three games.

Leeds could also be pulled back into the relegation battle, with Jesse Marsch’s side currently sitting 16th and just five points above the bottom three.

They face Crystal Palace on Monday night, who are 14th in the table.

Elsewhere…

Fellow mid-table sides Brighton and Southampton go head to head on Sunday, with the Seagulls coming into the game after an emphatic 1-0 win over Spurs while the Saints have won just one of their last seven games.

Finally, Aston Villa travel to Leicester City on Saturday afternoon, looking to push back up towards the top half of the table.
