With the third round of the FA Cup over, the quick turnover of games in this congested Premier League season continues as some clubs feature in midweek matches.

Manchester United finally have their chance to go top of the league when they play their long awaited game in hand against Burnley.

Any points for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will put them clear at the top of the table ahead of their rivals Liverpool.

Elsewhere, Manchester City have the opportunity to move back into the top four when they welcome Brighton.

Pep Guardiola’s side recently thrashed Birmingham in the FA Cup and will be looking to continue their good form on Wednesday.

Tottenham Hotspur were originally supposed to play Aston Villa, however, will now face Fulham.

Both games had been postponed due to COVID cases in the Villa and Fulham squads at different times, and the rearranged match between the two London clubs will now take place on Wednesday.

In one of the closer games during the midweek fixtures, Everton visit Wolves hoping to move back into the Champions League places.

Wolves have had an up-and-down campaign so far but have picked up wins against big sides like Chelsea and will be looking to do the same against the Toffees.

Finally, after picking up their first win of the season in the cup last weekend, Sheffield United will be looking for their first league victory of the season when they play Newcastle.

Both sides have been on a poor run of late, but the win at the weekend could spur the Blades on to picking up three points.
