With just five weeks of Premier League football remaining, the season is quickly coming to a close with everything still to play for but Manchester City can win the title this weekend.
Manchester City can be crowned champions this weekend
Manchester City are just two wins away from a third league title under Pep Guardiola, and they can move a step closer on the weekend when they face Crystal Palace.
They are on a high after coming from behind to beat PSG in the Champions League during the week and will look to be ruthless in domestic competition again this weekend.
Manchester United have a slim chance of closing the gap between themselves and City between now and the end of the season, but they will have to get past Liverpool this weekend.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool need to win to push them back towards the top four, while United currently sit second and 10 points away from first.
However, if United lose and City win then Guardiola’s side will wrap up the title on Sunday as their bitter rivals would trail by 13 points with just four games left.
The top-four battle continues
Third placed Leicester look comfortable in the battle for the Champions League spaces and they can really put themselves in the driving seat if they beat Southampton on Friday night. Kelechi Iheanacho is the man in form, scoring 11 goals in his last 11 games and showing no sign of stopping.
Both Chelsea and West Ham look set to battle it out for fourth place, with the Blues welcoming Fulham in a London derby and the Hammers travelling to Burnley. Their opponents have both been battling relegation, with Burnley in 14th and the Cottagers nine points behind in 18th.
Tottenham are outside candidates for the top four, finding themselves in seventh place when they welcome the already relegated Sheffield United. Both clubs have temporary managers in charge, but there is far more on the line for Ryan Mason than there is for Paul Heckingbottom.
Elsewhere, Everton host Aston Villa looking to push into the European places. The Toffees have a game in hand on all the sides above them and a win would see them rise level on points with West Ham in fifth.
Down at the foot of the Premier League
In the relegation battle, West Brom need to win against Wolves to keep their slim hopes of survival alive. They are nine points away from safety, while their local rivals are safe but come into the match off the back of a shocking 4-0 loss to Burnley.
Brighton sit in 17th and come into their match against Leeds having lost in disappointing fashion to bottom place Sheffield United. With just five games to go the Seagulls need three more wins to guarantee safety, although Fulham need to win at least three themselves to have a chance of staying up.
Finally, Arsenal visit a revitalised Newcastle United who have only lost once in their last five games. The Gunners, however, have had a poor domestic season all round and find themselves 10th in the league and facing a bottom-half finish.
