The Champions League returns this week with Liverpool and Real Madrid meeting in the quarter finals.
While the other ties see Bayern Munich host PSG, Manchester City take on Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea travel to Porto.
Liverpool are one of three English sides remaining in the competition and are getting ready to meet Madrid again for the first time since the 2018 final.
Since their defeat to the Spaniards three years ago, the Reds have gone on the win the competition whilst their opponents have failed to make it past the round of 16 stage.
Both clubs have had disappointing domestic campaigns so far, although Madrid are still in the chase for the La Liga title.
With a spot in the semi finals on the line, both teams are expected to up their performance levels in what is shaping up to be a thrilling encounter.
Manchester City still in the hunt for the quadruple
Fellow English club Manchester City have the chance to reach a European semi-final for the first time since 2016 under Manuel Pellegrini.
They take on Borussia Dortmund, who overcame Sevilla in the previous round of the competition.
The match could be somewhat of an audition for Erling Haaland, who is the tournament’s top scorer with 10 goals, and has been widely rumoured to be heading to City next season.
Chelsea need to bounce back after shock defeat
On Wednesday, Chelsea go head to head with Porto, with both clubs coming into the tie following impressive round of 16 victories.
The Blues outclassed La Liga leaders Atletico, winning 3-0 over the two legs thanks to strikes from Olivier Giroud, Hakim Ziyech and Emerson.
Porto overcame Juventus on away goals, with a last gasp free-kick from Sergio Oliveira sinking their opponents and sending the Portuguese into the quarter finals.
Sergio Conceicao’s side have won their last three games while Chelsea suffered a shocking 5-2 defeat to West Brom on the weekend, as Wednesday’s match shapes up to be an entertaining affair.
Bayern face Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG
Finally, current champions Bayern Munich welcome PSG in the only tie that doesn’t feature an English club.
The Germans are yet to lose in Europe under Hansi Flick, but the Parisians brushed aside Lionel Messi and his Barcelona teammates in the previous round.
Munich are comfortably top of their division, while Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG are behind Lille in the Ligue 1 table
This season’s quarter finals take place on the 6th and 7th of April, with the second legs being played on the 13th and 14th.
