European round-up: Cristiano Ronaldo beats Pele’s goalscoring record while Atletico Madrid and AC Milan enjoy key victories

Luis Suarez scored a late winner for Atletico Madrid, AC Milan won a tricky match against Benevento and Bayern Munich came from two down to win.

Luis Suarez scored a 90th minute winner for Atletico Madrid in their 2-1 win against Alaves which sent his team back to the top of the league.
