The third weekend of the 2021-22 Premier League season will see two of the biggest games of the campaign so far, as well as plenty of other exciting fixtures.
Manchester City take on Arsenal in the early kick off on Saturday, as Pep Guardiola faces his former assistant manager Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners have started terribly in the league, failing to score a single goal or earn any points, but they will be confident after beating West Brom 6-0 in the Carabao Cup this week.
The other big game sees two of the five remaining sides with a 100 per cent record go head-to-head, with Liverpool hosting Chelsea.
Both clubs have won their opening two games, with the Reds comfortably beating Norwich and Burnley, while the Blues have overcome Crystal Palace and Arsenal.
Tottenham, West Ham and Brighton are the other three teams still with a 100 per cent record in the league.
The north London club have started well under Nuno Espirito Santo, and are expected to win again this Sunday when they welcome the newly promoted Watford.
Watford impressed on the opening day against Aston Villa but were poor last weekend in their 2-0 defeat by Brighton.
The Seagulls can make it three wins out of three if they are victorious against Everton, although will need to be at their best against Rafa Benitez’s side.
West Ham have been the most impressive team so far, currently sitting top of the league having scored four goals in both of their games.
They can continue their superb form against Crystal Palace, who are yet to win or score a goal so far.
Elsewhere, Manchester United can bounce back from their disappointing draw at Southampton when they visit Wolves on Sunday.
Their opponents haven’t started well under new manager Bruno Lage, and United will be looking forward to playing against their fragile defence.
Leicester were also poor last weekend, losing 4-1 to West Ham, but will look for redemption on Saturday against the newly promoted Norwich who are yet to pick up any points.
The Canaries have been handed a tough start to the campaign, already losing to Liverpool and Manchester City.
The final new addition to the league, Brentford, got off to a dream start by beating Arsenal and drawing to Crystal Palace.
They can carry this on when they travel to Aston Villa, who are still trying to adapt to life without Jack Grealish.
Finally, all four of Leeds, Burnley, Newcastle and Southampton are still yet to win.
The latter two go head to head on Saturday afternoon, while Leeds and Burnley face off in the first game of Sunday afternoon.
