A cagey week of Champions League football saw three draws from the four games with Chelsea the only side to have an advantage going into the second leg.

Madness in Madrid

A late goal from Anthony Elanga sees Manchester United and Atletico Madrid go into the next leg all square at 1-1.

The Red Devils defence was undone early on as Joao Felix got onto the end of a dangerous cross to give the home side the lead.

However, thanks to Elanga`s late equaliser United will go into the home tie level and will feel quietly confident they can progress to the quarter-finals.

Chelsea ease past Lille

Goals from Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic have given Chelsea a 2-0 lead on aggregate against Lille. The Blues were in control throughout the evening after Havertz put the European champions ahead after eight minutes.

The second goal came midway through the second half after a great Chelsea move was finished by Pulisic to give Thomas Tuchel’s side a comfortable lead going into the second leg in France.

Sebastian Haller scores at both ends in Ajax draw

Ajax striker Sebastian Haller had a mixed evening after scoring for and against his team in their 2-2 draw at Benfica.

Dusan Tadic opened the scoring early in the first half for the Dutch side, before Haller`s own goal levelled for the hosts. Just three minutes later, the Ivorian was in the thick of it again pouncing at the near post to give the visitors the lead going into the break.

Ukraine international Roman Yaremchuk equalised after 72 minutes to ensure Benfica travelled to Amsterdam level.

Vintage Vlahovic opens his Champions League account

£62million signing Dusan Vlahovic scored his first Champions League goal as Juventus drew 1-1 at Villarreal.

It took the Serbian striker just 31 seconds to find the back of the net in the competition with a brilliant finish.

Despite the excellent start, Juventus struggled to get going and were pegged back on 66 minutes when Daniel Parejo slotted home from 10 yards.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri will want more from his side when the two sides meet again on March 16.
