You will not want to miss this weekends fixtures around Europe as LaLiga and Bundesliga will see two of their biggest derbies take place while Juventus host Lazio.

Atletico Madrid sit top of LaLiga ahead of this weekend’s Madrid derby.

Atleti do not boast great record against Sunday’s opponents Real Madrid and have already been defeated earlier in the season at the Bernabeu.

Despite their poor track record against Real, Diego Simeone’s side sit five points above their rivals and with a game in hand.

This will put more pressure on Real Madrid to go and earn three points as any other result will boost Atletico’s title hopes.

Simeone sides like to play deep and attack on the counter in big matches as we have seen this season but, it has not always worked out.

The Argentinian received a lot of criticism after a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in the Champions League which they didn’t register a shot on target.

Real Madrid will have a lot of the ball on Sunday and if they can get an early goal, we are likely to have an entertaining game but the longer it remains goalless the deeper Atletico Madrid will sit for a precious point.

Battle of the German giants

The second derby of the weekend will take place in the Bundesliga as league leaders Bayern Munich will look to complete the double over Borussia Dortmund.

These two sides last met in November which saw Bayern come out on top in a five goal thriller.

A lot has changed since then as Dortmund currently occupy fifth, with a different manager and sit three points off a Champions League spot. Bayern are being pushed all the way to the title by a resilient RB Leipzig.

After a 5-1 victory against Koln last time out Bayern Munich got back to winning ways In the league after claiming just one point in their previous two games.

This comes at a good time as Dortmund are unbeaten in their last three and have won four in a row in all competitions coming into Saturdays clash.

With both sides struggling defensively this season and with an array of world class forwards on show we can expect to see a lot of goals tomorrow evening.

Inter lead the way but it isn’t over yet!

The Serie A has been one of the most entertaining leagues to watch this season.

Inter Milan still top the table however AC Milan and Juventus are still Scudetto challengers.

Juventus face Champions League hopefuls Lazio as they look to close the 10 point gap to Inter Milan.

The Old lady have been on a good run domestically as of late beating mid table Spezia during the week.

However, this week Andrea Pirlo’s men will face Lazio who are a much more established outfit.

Despite losing three of their last four Simone Inzaghi’s side sit in seventh just one point behind a European qualification spot.

If they keep Cristiano Ronaldo quiet, Inzaghi will believe they can get a result to boost their hopes of plating European football next year.
