Kids’ corner – It’s all started again!

As a Watford fan it is hard watching the Premier League after getting relegated on the last day of the season!

But as a football fan I am happy the new season has started.

In the first week of the Premier League results there were lots of goals especially in the Liverpool game.

It is so important to start the season with a win which means there will always be disappointed fans out there.

Liverpool 4-3 Leeds United

The Reds just edged past the Championship winners with goals from Salah hat-trick (4′ pen, 33’, 88′ pen), and one from Van Dijk (20′). Harrison (12’minutes), Bamford (30’minutes) and Klich (66’minutes) scored for Leeds.

Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 Sheffield United

Wolves beat the Blades with early goals from Saïss (6’) and Jiménez (3’). Aaron Ramsdale debut game didn’t go to plan for the 22-year-old.

Brighton and Hove Albion 1-3 Chelsea

The Blues beat the Seagulls with goals from Jorginho (23′ penalty), James (56′), Zouma (66′) and Brighton scored through Trossard (54′).

A special mention to Reece James who scored a screamer.

West Bromwich Albion 0-3 Leicester City

The Foxes absolutely smashed The Baggies with goals from Castagne (56′) and a Vardy double from the spot (74′ pen, 84′ pen). Timothy Castagne will be delighted as it was his Leicester debut.

Tottenham Hotspurs 0-1 Everton

The Toffees beat Spurs with a header by Dominic Calvert- Lewin in the 25th minute.

Fulham 0-3 Arsenal

The Gunners won their first match of the season with a debut goal from Gabriel (49), after Lacazette (8′) opened the scoring and Aubameyang (57′) killed the game off.

Crystal Palace 1-0 Southampton

The Eagles beat The Saints with a goal from the Eagles top scorer from last season Wilfred Zaha.

West Ham United 0-2 Newcastle United

The Magpies put two goals past the Hammers. C Wilson (56′) and Hendrick (87′) both scored  on their debuts.
